Custom products
DataCenterTags.com produces custom labels, lamacoids, equipment tags, cable tags, and switchboard plates from customer-selected specifications and uploaded order data. Customer-provided text, diagrams, CSV files, and naming standards must be reviewed carefully before approval.
Quotes and pricing
Website estimates are provided for planning and checkout convenience. Large runs, rush production, unusual materials, oversized switchboard work, special packaging, or unusual shipping requirements may require a reviewed quote before production.
Proofs
Every cart can download a free digital proof, and submitted quotes and checkout records receive a proof by email. Approval applies to the exact submitted proof version shown in the private order page and confirms every displayed tag, sequential value, material, stock thickness, size, color, hole pattern, mounting, layout, spelling, quantity, and production note. Production requires payment and approval.
Payment
Online card checkout is processed through Stripe. Purchase order requests may be reviewed manually. Production files are not released until payment is confirmed and the current proof version is approved.
Customer files
The customer is responsible for having the right to submit any uploaded diagram, logo, naming convention, project data, or file. Uploaded files should not contain passwords, network credentials, confidential diagrams beyond what is required for the tag order, or regulated personal information.
Changes and cancellations
Because these are custom products, changes and cancellations must be requested before production begins. Once engraving, cutting, or special material procurement starts, the order may not be cancelable. Approved cancellations of captured card payments are refunded to the original payment method; bank posting time is outside DataCenterTags.com's control.
Production methods
Plastic stock may be laser engraved and cut after material calibration. Anodized aluminum and stainless geometry may require mechanical shearing, drilling, or punching; metal outlines and holes shown in production files are fabrication references and are not CO2 laser cut instructions.
Safety and code-critical signs
Arc-flash, electrical hazard, warning, emergency, fire, exit, egress, and photoluminescent signs are produced from customer-selected content. The customer is responsible for supplying current engineering-study values, selecting the correct equipment and installation location, and confirming applicable employer, code, listing, illumination, accessibility, and authority-having-jurisdiction requirements.
Raised Braille
Braille text is translated to contracted Unified English Braille for the digital proof. Braille production requires a separate tactile process for rounded, domed raised dots; the reference circles in laser files must not be engraved as a substitute. The customer remains responsible for confirming sign type, tactile character requirements, installation height, location, contrast, clear floor space, and all other accessibility requirements.
No engineering calculation
The creators format supplied information; they do not calculate incident energy, arc-flash boundaries, shock boundaries, PPE requirements, egress capacity, viewing distance, or code compliance. A digital proof confirms the manufactured layout, not the underlying engineering determination.
Limitation
Products support facility identification, hazard communication, and installation workflows. They do not replace engineering documentation, electrical safety studies, lockout procedures, training, workplace controls, inspection, or approval by the authority having jurisdiction.
